Exploring the transformative qualities between ‘virtual’ and ‘real’

Academics from across the East Midlands region are invited to participate in this workshop which will offer researchers the opportunity to investigate further the themes of:
- Physical rendering - from digital design to the physical output in seamless forms: Rapid Prototyping/laser cutting etc.
- The Figure in Interaction - the figure in movement: in Dance/ Museology/ Public art /digital interaction/Multi- and pervasive media/ Augmented Reality
- Changing Cinematic Space - blended spaces in virtual scenography/3D cinema/TV/Motion capture/animation/3D Photography
- Emerging theories of blended virtuality and its impact on society and the arts.
