This group works together to develop activities that will add value to the provision for postgraduate students across the region. Their activities include developing collaborative opportunities for postgraduate students, developing training for postgraduate trainers, responding to relevant funding calls, investigating opportunities to enhance the employability of postgraduate students.
The group host an annual conference for postgraduate students
The 2010 Conference is open to postgraduate research students from all the East Midlands Universities. This year the Conference has a broad title in order to appeal to a very wide spectrum of research interests including the social sciences, the arts, humanities, sciences and technology. EMUA was very proud to host the Beyond Boundaries conference for postgraduate students from the humanities disciplines at Loughborough University on the 22nd September 2009. Postgraduate student delegates from eight of the region's universities, attended the conference.
